The Challenge: To completely reposition a traditional, undifferentiated residential property (structurally identical to its neighbors) in a prime London postcode. The objective was to execute a full-scale renovation and extension that radically elevated the asset's aesthetic and market valuation while embedding high-level environmental engineering and absolute security.
The design originality has been awarded with a prestigious UK Property Award 2017 and featured in THE TIMES and Evening Standard.
The THINK NATURE Solution: We delivered a cutting-edge three-storey stainless steel extension and full biophilic interior retrofit. The structural envelope utilizes super-insulation and advanced cross-ventilation for passive night cooling. The street-facing facade was re-engineered utilizing 'Natural Analogues'—blending complex materiality with anti-theft architectural glass to ensure both uncompromised security and the maximization of natural daylight.
The Commercial ROI: The structural transformation successfully broke the property out of its standard market ceiling, culminating in a UK Property Award and direct features in The Times and Evening Standard. By converting a generic dwelling into an avant-garde architectural landmark, we significantly amplified the property's equity, exclusivity, and prime market desirability.
